Paper crafting al fresco!
We couldn't believe our good luck on May Day to have an 80 degree evening for our first Crepe Paper Flower Class! It seemed just perfect as we set up our paper flower-laden table in the breezeway outside the shop. Our black chalkboard paper had just arrived {Kitchen Papers} so we used it to cover the tables and try out the accompanying white chalk {such fun!}.
As our participants arrived, everyone seemed delighted to be spending this rare and lovely evening outdoors. A little vodka-laced lemonade added extra cheer!
As the sun gave off its last glimmers, we all showed off our creative paper blossoms!
A Little {Early} Spring Cleaning
Its been quite sunny in Seattle these days and we have a serious case of Spring fever! We've decided to do some Spring cleaning around the shop and are working to redecorate the studio. Here is a sneak peek at our inspiration board. Stay tuned for pictures of the complete project.
